Surrealist Explorations: Games, Love, and Interiorities. This course offers an in-depth immersion into surrealism, highlighting the intimate relationship surrealists have with images. We will study texts by surrealist writers, juxtaposing them with the works of visual artists. We will examine how surrealist writing is characterized by literary games and the metamorphosis of images. Additionally, we will explore literature and the arts as revolutionary practices, love and objective chance, as well as surrealist interiority through automatic writing and literary interpretations of psychoanalysis. |
