Course Overview Ecopoetics and Geopoetics: Text and Criticism. This course offers an in-depth exploration of the concepts of gecopoeticsh and ggeopoeticsh, defined differently within American and European contexts. We will examine these new critical approaches from multiple perspectives: their political critique of the contemporary world, their new literary ecology, as well as the integration of geographical elements in literature and the question of form and medium. Students will analyze texts and critiques to understand how these perspectives enrich our understanding of literature and its contemporary relationship to the environment and geographical space
