Today, Iran has established the regime of an "Islamic Republic," characterized by a blend of Islamic governance and Western political institutions. In order to examine the background of its establishment, this lecture focuses on the constitutional developments and explore how they have evolved over the years leading up to the current regime. In this exploration, it is essential to pay attention to the connections with other regions during the same period, including the broad dissemination, interconnection, and other interactions of legal systems and constitutional ideologies. Based on this, this lecture aims to comprehend the constitutional history of modern Iran from the perspective of global exchanges of knowledge that transcend the boundaries of individual nations. |
