| Course Overview |
This course aims to sociologically examine the themes of “Desistance from Crime and Delinquency” and “Drug Dependence and Life.” These topics bridge multiple academic areas, including welfare, healthcare, and criminal justice, and focusing on “Life” inevitably leads to an exploration of the surrounding local communities in which that life unfolds. Throughout the course, we will engage with these issues from various perspectives, drawing on the instructor's prior research and encouraging collaborative inquiry with students. |
