Various problems that attribute to ethnic differences are becoming more serious in many parts of the world. Ethnicity is one of the themes that cultural anthropology has been tackling for a long time. This course overviews how ethnicity has been discussed in cultural anthropology and related fields. Based on this, it examines the nature of ethnicity that is not necessarily reduced to “the politics of differences.” |
