| Course Overview |
Under the theme "what is the the anthropologial lens,",this course first offers the anthropologial concept of culture and its history. Then, we will learn the results of analysis through this concept from ethnographic case studies. The idea of culture allows us to reflect on the framework of actions that have become naturalized in human social life. Rather than pushing unknown world into a known framework (= simplifying complexity), approaching the unknown workd while expanding the known framework will be important for understanding the complexity of an increasingly diverse world. |
