Course Overview Dfart Dfart: Art and Literature in France. This course offers an in-depth exploration of the major artistic and literary movements that have shaped the history of the arts in France, in relation to literature, from the 16th c. to the 18th century. Students will study Renaissance, Baroque, Classicism, and the Enlightenment, analyzing the artistic and literary production of the time. The course will emphasize the development of oral and written skills through activities focused on production and comprehension. Students will interpret artworks and literary texts, engage in critical discussions, and produce written and oral analyses, thereby fostering a comprehensive and nuanced understanding of the artistic and literary evolution in France.
