An Introduction to Poetry and Poetics This course gives students the opportunity to read and discuss poetry written in English in a relaxed atmosphere. Students will develop proficiency in expressing ideas about poems in spoken and written English, improve critical thinking skills, and expand their understanding of poetic forms and prosody. By the end of the course, students will be able to speak and write about English-language poetry with authority. |
