| Course Overview |
Through the Japanese History Seminar XIXA and XIXB, the goal is to write an 8,000-character thesis on the theme of Eiichi Shibusawa. Of course, it is not easy to write a history thesis right away. Therefore, the aim is to acquire and refine the skills and etiquette necessary for thesis writing through the specific process of writing a thesis on Shibusawa. With this in mind, in this Seminar XIXB, based on the research plans created in XIXA, participants will proceed with the tasks necessary for writing their theses by reading historical materials and previous research related to their individual research plans. The outcome will be the completion of a short thesis as a final report. Specifically, the following content will be covered: ①Reading historical materials related to each participant's theme. ②Reading previous research related to each participant's theme. ③Revising and adding to the research plans. ④Confirming the rules for thesis writing. ⑤Writing the thesis. |
