Course Overview The course aims to understand of key concepts and fundamental ideas in philosophy and ethics, as well as related issues. The course will be based on English texts. In each session, one or two students will present their assigned section, or the class will conduct a group reading session together. Whether to follow a presentation format or a reading session will be decided based on the number of students, their preferences, and their familiarity with English academic papers.

Although the course is officially scheduled for the summer quarter, it will actually run biweekly throughout the spring and summer. Please note that participation from the spring quarter onward is required.
