| Course Overview |
The aims of this class are two-fold; one is to enable students to understand the basic concepts and tools of formal semantics such as compositionality and type theory, and the other is to overview how the data have been analyzed in the realms of event, modality, questions, and contexts. We will also discuss indefiniteness and plurality. |
