| Course Overview |
In this class, students will learn how to "design" experiments, which is necessary for studying experimental linguistics. In the first half of the course, I will introduce representative papers and the "experimental designs" used in them to deepen students' understanding of the advantages and disadvantages of each experimental design. In the second half of the course, students will work in groups to design actual experiments and give a presentation on their experimental designs in the final class. |
