In this class, we read the art historical document titled 唐朝名画録 of the Tang dynasty in original chinese text, compare the text with other art historical document titled 歴代名画記 with reference to the visual art works in the era, and as a result understand general tendency of the painting history of the Tang and the importance of the birth of ink painting at that period. |
