| Course Overview |
"Tsurezuregusa" was written by Kenko-hoshi at the end of the Kamakura period. This work is one of the most famous classics in Japan, but discussions about its characteristics and appeal are currently stagnant. In this lecture, I would like to get away from the current of modern discussion, then approach this issue with a clue of how people in the Edo period interpreted this work. |
