In this course, we would explore the many diverse ways that gEnglishh is used, from different accents to new varieties, and whole new contact languages that have come out of it. This course would cover linguistic processes that are involved in language contact, which affect the morphology, syntax, phonology and lexicon of a language, with a focus on their effects on English varieties around the world.
