| Course Overview |
This course aims to provide foundational knowledge and methodologies for studying classical Chinese literature through close reading of classical Chinese poetry. Presenters will compile and present materials including the classical Chinese reading of the poem, annotations of words, and a modern Japanese translation. Following each presentation, all attendees will engage in discussion about the content. By reading both the original text and the annotations together, students will also explore fundamental knowledge of classical Chinese literature and methods for interpreting poetry. |
