Course Overview

This course aims to develop students’ English writing skills, and to increase their confidence in writing in a variety of styles. Students will learn about paragraph writing, editing, and essay writing, as well as how to present material in different forms for different purposes. Students will be expected to produce written work each week, both in class and as additional activities, as well as to actively contribute to group discussions. The class is particularly focused on how to make persuasive arguments.
